Buckie Roots inspire Buckie Sensory Group in a Recent Visit

A big NESS thank you to Evelyn and Meg from Buckie Roots, who recently visited Buckie Sensory Group on a rather dreich and windy day! The pair gave an inspiring talk about their community group’s award-winning work in and around Buckie – cleaning, maintaining and improving community and open spaces, and making Buckie beautiful through a number of initiatives. These include planting flowers and trees, litter picking and community crafts. Buckie Roots aim to build
community spirit in the area, and to link with other groups and partnerships to the benefit of all. Pictured below are just two of a wide range of post box toppers created by Buckie Roots’ craft group, which they brought along to share with our group.
