Charles Bonnet Syndrome (CBS) peer support group

Charles Bonnet Syndrome (CBS) affects people with deteriorating or no sight , they see things that aren’t real, the images can be simple patterns or very detailed images of people, places, events etc.

Anyone who experiences symptoms of CBS is welcome to come along to:

  • NESS Café, 21 John Street, Aberdeen
  • The first Tuesday of every month from 10.30am until 12 noon

The purpose of the group is for participants to share their experiences and coping mechanisms.  Some find these images really distressing and it can be helpful speaking to others who know what you are going through.

Just come along , there is no need to book to join.

The only cost is for your own refreshments at the café which provides teas, coffees, cakes, rowies etc.

When coming along to this group, if you wish to take a friend or relative with you they are more than welcome to join too.  It can be good for others to have a better understanding of the symptoms you are experiencing.
