FORFAR SENSORY GROUP

What is it and who is it for?

The group is a social and information group for people experiencing sensory loss in the Forfar area.

Where and when do you meet?

All meetings will be from 1.30pm to 3.30pm, at 

Forfar Guide Hall, The Myre, DD8 1AZ

Wednesday 17th April- Talk with Jewellery designer Robin Key

Wednesday 15th May – Kirrie Police Museum visit

Wednesday 19th June- First Aid by British Red Cross

Wednesday 17th July – Talk by Angus Alive Signal Tower Museum

Wednesday 21st August – First Aid by British Red Cross

Wednesday 18th September- SCARF Information Session

Wednesday 16th October – Interactive Game Session

Wednesday 20th November – ‘Ferry’s Fishing Community’ Talk by Charlie Webster

Wednesday 4th December – Lunch at Airlie Arms Kirrie at 12pm

            

           

What do you do?

We have guest speakers suggested by the group and also plan to have some outings. We also have some time for a cup of tea and a chat.

How do I join?

Either just come along to the group or contact Cilmi Eldho at NESS.

What is the subscription or cost to members?

Currently all it costs is £2 donation towards teas/coffees and room hire.
