NESS Weekly Lottery

Would you like to be in with a chance of winning up to £25,000 and help NESS deliver its life-changing services? Now you can!

We have launched our own weekly lottery, giving our supporters a new way of donating to us and helping with our mission to achieve independence for blind and deaf people.

With your help, we can enable people living with serious sight and/or hearing loss to overcome daily challenges, and to live their lives as independently as possible on their own terms.

Our lottery is operated by Unity and costs only £1 for one entry, with draws taking place every Friday. If you would like to sign up, please click here and then click ‘Play Now’.

Here’s how to play:

• On the Unity website, choose to support NESS and pick how many £1 entries you’d like to play each week
• Choose to pay online by Direct Debit or Debit Card, or alternatively download a postal form which is available here
• Fill out your details and click submit, or post your form to Unity’s freepost address
• You’ll receive your randomly generated lottery numbers in the post
• If you win, Unity will contact you directly – there’s no need to claim your prize
• To enter, you must be 18 or over

Each Friday, a six-digit winning number is generated by Unity. To win, the digits in your number must match the drawn number, and be in the same position.

Every ticket has an equal chance of winning, and for every £1 played, at least 50p goes directly to NESS. The other 50p is split between the prize pot and administration costs.

By playing, you can help us support more than 6,250 people of all ages living with serious sensory loss in Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Angus, Dundee and Moray.

You will be helping us provide crucial services such as:

• Supporting people with information and advice as they receive a diagnosis
• Enabling children and young people to grow in confidence, independence, social skills and ambition by participating in activities
• Connecting people through groups and classes, reducing isolation and building skills and friendships
• Providing tailored support, enabling people to find employment, further education or training opportunities, or to remain in employment following a diagnosis
• Increasing independence and reduce isolation by training and supporting people to use accessible technology and digital devices
