Shelves display a range of equipment and daily living aids in the Dundee Resource Centre

What’s Happening in the Dundee Resource Centre

Our Dundee Resource Centre is fully re-opened again, and we look forward to
welcoming you. We can provide information and support about living with a
sensory loss, as well as providing information on specialist equipment and technology
that you might find useful.
For anyone interested in getting support with employment related issues, you
can arrange to meet with Janice, our Employment Officer. Kevin, one of our ICT
Officers is in Dundee every Wednesday, and he can give you information and
advice about electronic reading aids, including electronic magnifiers and
text-to-speech technology, as well as smart phones and computers. NESS runs
social group meetings in Dundee and Broughty Ferry as well as throughout
Angus – more details of their activities are in the previous article.
The Hearing Aid Support drop-in service has also started up again at NESS. Get
your hearing aid batteries changed, or your hearing aids cleaned and retubed.
Just drop into the NESS Resource Centre in Dundee between 10am to 12pm on
the following dates:
18th October 2022
15th November 2022
20th December 2022
